Accommodation cancellations
A credit/debit card will be required to confirm your reservation and in the event of cancellations for any reason, we will apply the following charges although we will try our upmost to re-sell the room(s). We therefore advise that you have travel/holiday insurance. We also reserve the right to request a deposit prior to your arrival.
- Cancellations made within 72 hrs of expected arrival will incur a 50% charge of the full bed & breakfast holiday price. Bookings incorporating 4 or more rooms will incur a 75% charge.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of expected arrival will incur a 25% charge of the full bed & breakfast holiday price. Bookings incorporating 4 or more rooms will incur a 50% charge.
- Non arrivals will incur a 100% charge of the full bed & breakfast holiday price.
Fishing cancellations
- Guests with a room reservation will not be required to pay a deposit but the full boat/rod rates will be included with the b&b rates above, when calculating the cancellation charges.
- Guests without a room reservation will pay a deposit for reserved boats/rods in advance. 50% of the daily boat/rod rate will be charged and will be non-refundable. The remaining balance shall be paid 14 days prior to fishing.
- Fishing rates will be charged regardless of weather conditions but alternative fishing will be offered subject to availability.
Pet Policy (by arrangement only)
Small, clean, well behaved dogs will be permitted in the bedrooms provided a dog bed is made available for the dog’s use. They will not be permitted in any other public rooms. The Hotel reserves the right to charge for damage or fouling on the premises.
Smoking
The Hotel operates a no smoking policy. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building.
Payment
Payment is accepted by the following methods:
- Cash
- Cheque, provided a cheque guarantee card is also submitted.
The following cards are also accepted: MasterCard, Visa, Electron, Maestro, and Solo.
Fuel
Please be aware that the Hotel no longer operates the fuel pumps on the premises. Guests are advised that the nearest forecourts for filling up are in Lairg (South) and Tongue (North) but both have restricted operating hours, especially on Sundays.
Checking in/out
Check-in time is from 3pm (unless pre-arranged for earlier).
Check-out time is by 10.30am (unless pre-arranged for later).
