Star Gazing
On a clear night, those of you that normally live in more populated areas will not believe how amazing the night sky appears without any light pollution. If you visit in autumn or winter you may be very lucky and see a wonderful display of the Aurora Borealis or the ‘Northern Lights’.
If guests want to learn more about the night sky, the Caithness Astronomical Group issues a schedule of star-gazing evenings at venues throughout the northern highlands.
